What a great lesson for all of us. Human rights are a crucial part of the humanity. What we do, must not unduly, unjustly, or unnecessarily cause pain and suffering onto others, especially when we are well informed and or vested the powers to make changes, speak the truth from lies and or doing what is right. As elder members of the family, you have the obligation to speak the truth and not the contrary, let alone not to explicitly show bias to the youngest. At least these are our Babu Balthazar's value, and frankly, they are also Christian and universal ethical and moral standards.
In the world of psychology as a healing science that focuses on overall human well-being, i.e. parenting, spirituality, workplace, and counseling affairs, the phrases containing "PLEASE & IM SORRY" words are considered the *Magic Words.* Because using or lack of using these words when you clearly violet other people existential can literally *Make or Break someone's Life entirely.*
Furthermore, psychologists articulate that at adulthood, these words are about Accountability and Responsibility in life, best learned at childhood and at *home surroundings, the most harmonious/health environment of all. literally using these words literally and practically, especially when there is a decade-long history of mistrust, violations, discrimination, invasion, and incitement of violence, does not help to ease a small thing that can be easily avoided, considering common human errors, because no one is perfect under the sun.
"The time is always right to do what is right," said Dr. Martin Lither King Jr. He surely did not miss the words in this matter.
But hey, it is life, people differ, things happen for a greater purpose, we learn and grow every day. However, as a scholar of "Truth" and "Humanity," I know first hand that change and growth are the necessary part of human life. Life is precious to catalyze the necessary change in life, like speaking out of the movement that tries to invade our home, incite violence and kill our mother and us as we come to her defense.
Any scholar should and is to be an agent of seeking the "Truth" and "Change". Because a good change makes people understand the practical and literal importance and meaning of these two magic words, thus spurring change. Kudos to the "Change" acceptors. Go Figure! Blessings. 🌏 ✝✡🙏
